The waves were flat and the sun was hidden, so we decided to check out the infamous sand dunes. On most scorching hot, sunny days I wouldn't go near the dunes, but yesterday was perfect. We rented a board for 20 reais (12 usd) and played in the massive sandbox. It was fun and a bit like snowboarding, but after an hour its time for the beach and some Acai!
