These big shows aren't really my bag, but it is a once in a lifetime kind of situation. Vendimia is a annual celebration of wine harvest with parties, tastings and other wine centered events taking place during the week leading up to this evening.
We parked it with a full spread of melons, empanadas, steak sandwiches and wine.

After 2 hours of a very elaborate and colorful performance it was time to select the queen. I, however, skipped out early to avoid the chaos we experienced on the way in (These Argentines have yet to figure out how to organize a safe and efficient event entrance). A nice girl from Santa Rosa took home the crown.
